Travel insurance

There are two primary reasons that I carry travel insurance when I cruise. One of them is emergency medical coverage, and the other, bigger reason is medical evacuation back to the United States. That will cost you six figures. All the other stuff (cancellation, lost luggage, trip delay) is gravy to me.

Also, I get my cruise insurance through my auto club (AAA).

We also used Travel Insured for our last cruise about a month ago. Excellent coverage, which thankfully we didn't need, and a decent price...$144 for two of us.

Travel Insured is our insurance of choice.

I have used Travelguard for all of my previous trips, luckily never having to submit a claim. I also always add the additional coverage for emergency transport. If they every had to medflight a family member off of the ship it is VERY costly. Worth the extra coverage cost.
