Taxi fare from San Diego Airport to Mercury

Does anyone know the cost to take a cab from the San DIego airport to

the Mercury?

I am not sure of the cost - but it shouldn't be too much as the airport and pier are fairly close together. You might do a search in the United States section of the Ports of Call.

I was on the 11-11-05 sailing and the cab fare was $8.60.

The airport might be 3 miles (the long way). Take a cab.

Is the cab fare based per person or total? Also does the cab drop you off right up by the cruise ship, or is there a walk involved?

Have a look, during the day time, at the

San Diego Cruise Ship Terminal Web Cam.

 

The road the runs from left to right is Harbor Drive. I'm not exactly sure where taxis are allowed to drop people off (curbside or are they allowed on the pier?) But it looks like the distance from Harbor Drive to the inside of the cruise terminal is just a short walk.

Was on the Mercury 10 day cruise Nov 11th. Taxi fair was $11, tip included. Took about 5 min. You can see the ship when you start to desend into the airport:D
