wspatton Posted June 14, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2004 Hi! In the months prior to my May 2004 cruise on the Golden, Mary & I had a lot of fun and got a ton of useful help in this forum and the Princess Roll Call forum. Is it just me, or is there less similar activity over on "Carnival"? I have been looking around over there as I contemplated (and then ultimately booked) a December cruise on that line. And it just doesn't seem like there is as many similar type threads. Any of you (like maybe Chris) that are active in both forums notice this? I am just really hoping that my Princess experience (both on the ship and in these Boards) didn't spoil me. sungirl Posted June 14, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2004 I also noticed that there are many more people on-line on the Princess board as opposed to the Norwegian board. "I want to go back to the island..." J. Buffett
wwinfl91 Posted June 14, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 14, 2004 Both the Princess and the Celebrity boards seem to be particularly active boards. They seem to be way more active than the other cruise line boards for some reason. My guess is more people who cruise these two lines are also computer users who are online more. There may be more of them that have cable or other "always on" Internet service. Have a great next cruise. sue d. miller Posted June 14, 2004 #7 Share Posted June 14, 2004 I have been here for 4 years, and it seems as though the board "blossomed" in the last 3 mos. As well as the great info, people are willing to take the time to research a question to help out, the fun entertainment, not always welcomed, we also have great chemistry here. I think someone noticed. Sue 7 days on Star Princess 10/24 GROWING OLD IS MANDATORY..... GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL
