oledave Posted December 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 1, 2005 One of my family members has developed a severe allergy to insect sprays, particularly the commercial varieties used in office buildings, etc., and in some hotels. Does anyone know if these types of sprays are used on cruise ships regularly, occassionally, not at all, on some cruise ships and not others, ??? Official replies from cruise lines would be especially helpful. We want to schedule family cruises in the future and this is a real problem. CaptData Posted December 1, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 1, 2005 Contact each cruiseline and check with their specialty departs. But I think you will find that they do use it because they must control insects too.
kitty9 Posted December 1, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 1, 2005 Since cruise lines have to go through frequent inspections for many things, including bugs, they do use sprays on a regular basis.
