Have you ever thought about using Carnival's Vacation Guarantee?

I considered it one time, but realized that I was overreacting and got over it before I made it down to Guest Services. We had steakhouse reservations for night 2 and I needed to dry my hair. The electrical outlet had been installed upside down, so it was impossible to plug in my own hairdryer. I brought out the ship's hairdryer and found that the heat worked but the fan was broken. My hair was eventually partially dry in a really ugly manner and I was sweating from the dryer and the amount of time it took. I thought I could fix the hairstyle by wetting the ugly sections and trying again to dry them, but my SO was in the bathroom and our steakhouse reservation time was approaching. So I used water from a half full glass on the desk. After struggling with the hairdryer again, my hair was stiff and so clumped together that I couldn't even run a comb through it. I burst into tears when I found out that the glass did not contain water; it was instead melted ice and lemonade that my SO brought back to the cabin after lunch. Another shower and hair drying was done in record time while I swore I was getting off the ship the next day. Thankfully we ran into the steward on our way out the door and when we returned after a very nice meal, we found an extension cord on the desk that allowed me to use my own hairdryer. I tipped the steward well, gave up the idea of leaving the ship, and had another great cruise.
