tinez Posted August 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2017 It is possible to choose between upper and lower floor dining in the MDR. I couldn't find any information on the differences - which one is usually preferred?
tenpin Posted August 11, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2017 We have never been offered that choice, but have often been on the upper dinning room. The main difference is the noise level lower floor being larger whereas the upper floor consist of basically just a balcony round the restaurant. Given the choice upper for me every time. MamaS Posted August 12, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 12, 2017 On our recent cruise on Costa Mediterranea some people were given that choice. It depended on what kind of ticket you had. If you have a preference, check on the MyCosta website. That is where you can fill in your preference of dining time and seating location. If I had the choice, I would have chosen upstairs since it is the calmer location.
