Trent Parsons Posted August 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2017 My wife and I are looking at the Singapore to Sydney cruise commencing 23/11/2017. As this will be for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary I want this to be very special. Any advice on the Junior Suite greatly received. I note this suite is mid-ship, and as first time cruisers we have no idea whether this is good or bad. My wife is concerned about getting travel sick, so hoping the placement of this suite will be ok for her.
jasper15 Posted August 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2017 I've yet to cruise on Ovation but my husband and I usually do a Junior suite when we sail with Royal and they are very good. I wouldn't book a lower category again unless Junior had sold out and I really wanted to do a particular cruise. We always stay in a mid-ship cabin and have never had a problem with feeling the boat move. Mid ship is a good location. I've read on CC that the higher the cabin is the better. I think deck 9 is the lowest we have stayed but it was great. Have a great cruise :)
cb at sea Posted August 16, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2017 A JS is a lovely space...more like a hotel room than a cabin. Mid ship cabins experience less motion, generally speaking. Higher decks "feel" it more.
