SimplySherman Posted August 21, 2017 Author #2 Share Posted August 21, 2017 Help can any one use the over lay or from experience & know if this is a covered balcony? Thank you!
Bobrunner Posted August 31, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2017 8th and 9th desks have some uncovered balconies. We had one last Nov, 9th desk. It was alright but this time will get a covered 9th desk covered balcony. You should ask the NCL rep if the cabin you are looking at is covered or not. From what I can see you might have a covered balcony.
Rare kjquilts Posted September 1, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 1, 2017 (edited) 8120 has a covered balcony. Bed in this stateroom is by the balcony (we like this set up). Here is a link to SDMike's excellent Epic Uncovered and Extended Balcony Listing thread http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1523109 Many of the deck 8 balconies have their downward view blocked by lifeboats. You may want to do a google search to give you a better idea. I would prefer deck 9 or above to deck 8. We were on the Epic twice, once in aft facing 10318 (loved it) and once in a large angled B6 balcony (preferred the aft location even with the vibration when coming in to port). Here is link to a ship photo posted in above mentioned SDMike thread by Freestyle Novice. Photo is "clickable" to give you close up look at the Epic. https://bysmariebailey.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/img_20140101_140044_727.jpg Edited September 1, 2017 by kjquilts
SimplySherman Posted September 1, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted September 1, 2017 Thank you Bobrunner & Kjquilts. Just the info I needed. I'm on the upcoming TA, going to try to swing a switch to an aft, if not I'll be happy. Thank you again
