Priority debarkation luggage tags on ebay?

So I've seen these luggage tags on ebay for about $5 or so that claim you will get off of the ship first with them. They are generally for platinum and diamond members. If I were to buy these, would they actually work for me? Don't I have to purchase priority debarkation?

Kinda.

Your luggage will make it off the ship but without some sort of priority (platinum, FTTF) you will get off with Zone 2/3 or so. You will not have the card/sticker to get into the priority disembarkation area.

If you want priority then buy FTTF.

Is there a reason you need to be first off the ship? If you have a plane to catch before noon, just tell them at guest services and they will ensure you get off early. Generally, those that pick self assist are off right away. If you plan to carry off your luggage you can get off right after the gangway opens. As for whether or not the tags work, idk never tried but have picked the self assist option. Enjoy your cruise.

For free you can go to guest services and let them know you need a lower number. We have consistently been able to gather number 3s (before I reached platinum).

We've done this too. One of the hardest parts of cruising for my son is having to wait around on debark morning and so we always try to get off as soon as we possibly can. We've tried to do self-assist debark before and it did NOT go well. So now, if we get a high zone # tag, we just go to guest services and ask for the lowest one possible..we're usually able to get a 2 or 3, sometimes a 1.
