In Town Dec 21st, Let's compare notes?

My wife and I will be in Costa Maya Dec 21st 05 on the Carnival Glory. I've booked the boat snorkle trip with Island Marketing leaving out of Maya Palms Resort but I am always looking for other stuff to see and do. Let us know what you did when you went there (just the highs) or if your going there, let know what you have planned. I would like to get some shopping in if anyone knows of where to go in town and what to buy as take home gifts or a really nice "local restaurant" to hit. Thanks. :D

Cool ! I see your from SW Florida, We're from middle, east coast Florida. I hear the David and Ivan tour is great ! I looked at that but went with the snorkle resort trip. Mybe we'll see you around the ship. Have a great cruise. :D

Enjoy your snorkeling! It's easier to snorkle at home than to see some ruins (the only ones here are empty WalMart stores), so that was how we based our decision.
