LAX pre-cruise package

Has anyone ever used a pre-cruise package (purchased mine from my TA) which includes transfers from LAX to the Marriott, 1 night stay, and transfers to the pier in the morning?

I'm wondering how we make the transfer arrangements. For instance, does the Marriot have a shuttle that will be picking up patrons at LAX? And once it's time to leave the Marriott for San Pedro, do we need to have our names on a waiting list somewhere? How often does this shuttle service run?

As you can see, I'm confused. Any help would be greatly welcomed!

You can call the Marriot that you are booked at and find out. Since we had Marriot bucks, I called some of the Marriots for my trip in January and I think they use super shuttle or a similar company.

For us, we plan on staying at the Renaissance Montura and renting a minivan from Enterprise the day before the cruise. We will drop it off at their office near the pier.

Thx,

Debbie

On a previous Carnival cruise we purchased the transfers pre and post. A bus provided by Carnival took us to the hotel and the next morning the same bus took us from the hotel to the pier. Same on return. I assume Princess will work the same way but have yet to check that for our Hawaii cruise.
