ShoreX Question

Straight forward question, hoping someone has experience with.

Going on the Gem out of NYC at the end of the month. Ended up booking the trip fairly late (less than 60 days out). One of the ShoreX's that I was wanting to do "sold out" online (as in no longer listing online). I called the 1-800 number and they too have it listed as sold out.

Does NCL keep a select number of slots available for on-board booking? I know I have had luck walking and making a dinner reservation right away (but didn't show as available online). Does anyone know if this is true with ShoreXs?

Thanks!

they dont hold slots, but you can get on a waiting list and they will usually get you in as people inevitably cancel.

True. And occasionally if the waiting list is long, and if adding another of that excursion is possible, they'll do so.
