Playa Mia. Taxi or use playa Mia transportation??

We are planning or first cruise for the coming February. We want to go to playa Mia. Carnival doesn't offer it. So we are torn between booking it on playa Mia's website, or through shore excursioneer. Also we don't know if we should get the transportation through who ever we book with or just do a taxi on or own.

It's very easy to get a taxi. It will be about 15 each way. That way you can decide when to come and leave.

 

Also consider Paradise Beach. A very similar resort, but less expensive. Just $3 to get in.

PB does not offer AI options that are available from Playa Mia. Playa Mia also offers a kiddie water park that attracts lots of families.

We did this with our two young children a couple years age. We did not feel the AI option was worth the cost. And we took a cab (which was super easy)
