Vacation.Mom2 Posted September 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2017 We are arriving in Barcelona about 1100am by the time we go through customs. Does anyone have any experiences with arranging an afternoon type tour with pick up at the airport. Again the next day we have the morning, ship does not sail until late afternoon (7pm). Thinking again, same tour type company with deposit at cruise port. Suggestions?? Our hotel is in the Ramblas area.
paul929207 Posted September 24, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2017 I would check the port of call section. I would think y0u could find a private tour that would pick up at the airport.
Davistx1 Posted September 24, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 24, 2017 We just did this through Barcelona Day Tours...it was 300 euros for 4 people for airport pickup, 4 hour tour that included Park Guell admission and drop off at hotel. We really enjoyed it and 4 hours was just the right length for us after flying all night. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

zetaome Posted September 24, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 24, 2017 I also used Barcelona Day Tours. They had a variety of options for tours and were very easy to work with. If I ever start/end a cruise in Barcelona again, I will happily use them once more!
Vacation.Mom2 Posted September 27, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted September 27, 2017 Thanks for all the suggestions. Ironically I just came across BCN tours and was very interested in their options. Glad to hear so many have used this company with good comments! Sent from my SM-T820 using Forums mobile app
TMS9539 Posted September 28, 2017 #8 Share Posted September 28, 2017 We went on a full day tour with them which included the 1/2 day city tour and 1/2 day to Montserrat. Absolutely loved it. Montserrat was magnificent. They do a great job. The 1/2 day city tour doesn't go inside Sagrada Familia though, which was a must see for us so we went back and did that on our own the next day. tgwabd Posted September 28, 2017 #9 Share Posted September 28, 2017 We used Barcelona day tours also, they picked us up at the hotel in the morning of the cruise. We did the Cava and Montserrat tour, bought two bottles of Cava for the cruise, and they dropped us off at the ship. It's a great way to spend your last day in Barcelona.
