Can I join a stingray tour when I get off the boat?

I am a really bad procrastinator, so therefore I havnt booked my stingray city tour yet and our cruise leaves this sunday, the 11th! I was wondering if anyone knew if I can join a tour when we get off the boat, or if this was really hit or miss. I dont want to be stuck on a half rate tour, either.

Is it too late to book thru someone like native way or sotos? Like I said, we will be there next week.

thanx :)

There will be indie tour operators there holding signs as you get onto the island advertising for their various stingray tours. I doubt you'll have a problem finding one if you're in one of the first few tenders off the ship.

There are several tour operators outside the gate. I would recommend the Reef, Ray, Rum Point tour of Native Way. Look for a fellow with a round sign with "Native Way" on it. The tour lasts about 5 hrs., so ask when you'll be off. Lunch is included and served at Rum Point.

Go to your local Sam's Club or Walmart or somewhere and buy a cheap phone card and call them. With a phone card, you know what the maximum damages can be.

If you continue to procrastinate, I have seen walkups join the major players - if you are off the ship early enough and if they have room.
