How long do airport transfers last?

We are sailing Constellation Christmas week, and will be returning on 12/31 to San Juan. We have a 5:30 flight out and planned on spending the day in Old San Juan. I have read where we can store our bags in Old San Juan, but would the Celebrity airport transfer ticket we have be good later in the day - say about 3 pm or will we need to just catch a cab on our own - and can the cabs fit a family of 4 and all their luggage?

The transfers only load you onto the buses directly off the ship in the morning and head to the airport. If going later in the day, you're on your own. Depending on your luggage, you may need 2 cabs or a Van at least.
