Appleton Estate Mini Tour Near Falmouth

I read an article the other day that back in May, there was a mini tour set up maybe 10 mins from the cruise port. Anyone been to this recently? I know the distillery is closed for renovations and scheduled to reopen this month according to their website. We have 2 smaller kids and so I don't think the 4 hour r/t ride is going to work out in the event the distillery reopened before Dec. TIA!

I am not aware of any Appleton mini tour located near Falmouth.

 

However, the Hampden Rum Co. is located near Falmouth and does tours. I hear it is about 20 minutes from Falmouth. We are planning on going there during our March trip to Jamaica.

This was the original article from earlier this year. Someone also mentioned that they sell various rums in the duty free shops and that you can sample them from there.
