Any Unique Shopping available?

Looking for unique places to shop. We tend to look for handcrafted items by locals when we are in ports. We don't care about the regular tourist junk or diamond international type places. We collect Christmas ornaments from every new port, so definitely need to find those.... Any suggestions??

Close to the port at the local market of fort de France downtown maybe. At the potery village for sure (but it is in Les Trois Ilets - you have to book a tour to go over there).

 

No taxi's? :( Pottery Village sounds like a place I'd love!

All of our tree ornaments are a type of Santa on Vacation... every trip (land or sea based) we look for a Santa on Vacation type ornament.. Santa skiing, Santa on a dolphin, Santa in a hammock, etc

 

Will be looking for some in Martinique...
