Will be sailing HAL for the first time over Christmas on the Westerdam. What evening entertainment options are there currently? What kinds of shows do they have in the large theater? Do they typically have other options i.e. comedians, hypnotists, etc?

There is usually a show on the main stage, either performed by the ship's entertainers or sometimes guest entertainers. This would be where you'd find comedians and the like also.

BB Kings is a big draw in the Queens Lounge most evenings.

A classical duet on piano and violin will usually be found in what is now called Lincoln Center Stage, but they will have other performances there (in a similar vein).

Not sure if they still have a guitar player someplace along one of the promenade decks in a lounge, but they should have piano players in Billboard Onboard.

When at sea, you'll have lounges, bars and the casino available in the evenings along with shopping (my DW considers this an entertainment!)

The Ocean Bar might have a small band playing for dancing in the evenings too. I'm sure someone might know this better who's recently been aboard.

Enjoy your cruise!

We are on the westerdam now and for us Lincoln Center is the highlight

3 concerts each day with a full string quartet plus piano. Standing room only. Like being in Lincoln Center in NYC. BB king pretty good. Had two really funny comics.

Have fun.
