cruise parking at hotel?

We will be driving down from Jacksonville to Fll and staying saturday night before our cruise. Would like to find a room with cruise parking like the Radisson at Pt. Canaveral. Any recommendations from the experienced cruisers. We enjoyed Radisson, but found the shuttle to be crowded and not reliable to the schedule and hope to find something run a little better. If need be we will take a cab to the pier from the hotel...Does the Holiday Inn Express have cruise parking...

No, the Holiday Inn Express on SE 17th Street doesn't allow cruise parking, their lot isn't big enough. AmeriSuites is the only one in the SE 17th Street area (the best area for cruisers to stay, very safe area just outside the entrance to Port Everglades).

 

Shuttles & busses are always crowded and chaotic, taxis & limos will always be your best bet.

Thanks Trent for the info. I think we are going to stay out of the area a short ways and then just drive in and park at the port parking and pay their fee. This will avoid the shuttles hassles we've experienced on previous cruise and maybe get out of the area quicker when we return.

That's really the best way Jim... Port Everglades parking is $12 per day, but very safe and secure in covered parking garages. It's definitely the easiest, and quickest!
