toofunnie Posted December 12, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 12, 2005 I am needing some help finding a decent and not extremely expensive hotel for the night of the 24th of December. Our cruise comes in that day and we do not fly out til the next morning. Since it will be Christmas Eve I figured there will not be alot to do except enjoy the water. Any help would be so greatly appreciated! By the way we are a family of 6 so if we could find a way to all stay in the same room that would be great, but we can stay in two rooms. Thanks in advance! TrentS Posted December 12, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 12, 2005 Nothing like waiting til the last minute eh? ;) Most things along the beach and in the tourist areas will be open and operating as normal on Christmas. toofunnie Posted December 12, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted December 12, 2005 Yep, I am a procrastinator! Thanks so much for your help! We will have a car. Happy Holidays!
TrentS Posted December 12, 2005 #4 Share Posted December 12, 2005 Good luck! You're most likely going to need 2 rooms for 6 people. I don't know of any off hand that will allow 6 in a room, and the rooms in South Beach are typically quite small. There seem to be a few places though with pretty good prices considering the holiday and short notice. Have a great cruise and stay! :)
toofunnie Posted December 12, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted December 12, 2005 TrentS, What do you know about the Double Tree Hilton Surfcomber or the Royal Palm. They seem to have fairly reasonable prices. Thanks again, You are a great help, by the way this is our first cruise.
TrentS Posted December 12, 2005 #6 Share Posted December 12, 2005 Either one would be a good choice... They're both nice places in GREAT locations, directly on the ocean with dozens of restaurants, shops and everything South Beach has to offer within easy walking distance.
