wow! 15 inches of snow in an hour and a half! Would not think that was possible, but there it is!

We did an early May Southbound out of Anchorage on Princess this past May. Weather was beautiful, except two days. Embarkation Day was chilly and rainy and Ketchikan was drizzlie! Layers and rainwear are must haves (even if they stay in the suitcase). All of the other days, it was sunny and in the 50 / 60's. There were no crowds. We loved the timing and are planning to sail a Northbound itinerary in May of 2019!
