cruzbugy Posted November 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2017 We will be on the Marina for the first time next October 2018 and disembarking at Barcelona. The ship docks at 6am. Do they allow walk off with our own luggage as they do on other cruiselines? What time are you able to get off the ship? We are trying to plan for a 11:15am flight. Thanks, Jeanne

Thanks, Jeanne If the ship gets through Customs and Immigration easily then you'll be at the Airport in plenty of time... Problem is, are you willing to take the chance that there won't be a problem? Until the ship clears, nobody moves, period, no discussion. :o
YoHoHo Posted November 15, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 15, 2017 We will be on the Marina for the first time next October 2018 Enjoy your first O cruise, Marina is lovely. Do they allow walk off with our own luggage as they do on other cruiselines? Yes, they do. What time are you able to get off the ship? As per JimandStan's post, it is out if O's hands. They will let disembark at 6:00 if that is when the ship is cleared, or 7:00 or ... The ship wants you off asap too so you have a common goal :). Not BCN but MIA twice and Athens once have had lousy experiences getting off and to the airport in a timely manner; MIA not even trying for early. mountain grandma Posted November 17, 2017 #5 Share Posted November 17, 2017 Jeanne--What port will you be stopping at just before Barcelona? If it is Spanish, your ship may have already completed part of the clearing process and disembarkation will be very quick. If its not, it will take longer. We have ended cruises in Barcelona several times and have never had a problem. The ride to the airport is not long and if you can disembark by 9, you should be at the airport by 9:30 as he morning commute traffic will already be over. Enjoy your cruise.
