Time to Board Splendour

We are take a short 4-night cruise on Splendour OTS in March. It is schedled to leave Galveston at 6:00 p.m. What is the earliest we can board the ship?

u can get on usually by 11:30 or noon but not to rooms til after 1 pm

Yes you can get on board from noon and you cabin will be ready from 1pm

 

You can also use the facilities on board before your cabin is ready

In my boarding docs, it states that boarding time is 3:00. I really don't want to wait that long. Is this the time that my room will be ready, but I can get on the ship earlier if I want to?? I also don't want to get to the peir, and not be allowed on the ship though. Has anyone been told they would have to wait to board??

As a previous poster stated you can start boarding at noon and your room will be ready at 1:00. In the meantime lunch buffet is in the Windjammer. I have not been on the Splendour but that matches the times for the Rhapsody which also goes out of Galveston.

We went last week, got to the dock around 12:30 and they had been boarding for a while, not sure what time they started

Last time wwe went on the Rhapsody, they started boarding exactly at noon. We were in the first 10 after a wedding party boarded. Plan on doing the same this time.

On the 12/1 cruise, people were boarding around noon. We were on at 12:30 and our room was ready by 1:30.

Noon sounds like the time to be there, I'll plan on that.
