Linda the Book Lover Posted December 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2017 Has anyone stayed at this hotel in 2017? I am thinking about this hotel as it is an easy walk to the Canada Place Terminal.
Rare martincath Posted December 4, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 4, 2017 I'm guessing the lack of response to your other question from a couple of days ago means you're unlikely to get a response to this either... and to be honest, as useful as Cruise Critic is, it's not the horse for this course. You will find greater volume and relevance of hotel-related queries on TripAdvisor, a much busier forum, especially when combined with e.g. Expedia which only allows reviewing after a booked stay. As a local I'm afraid I can't offer an experiential review of hotel stays, just commentary on location (which is pretty convenient for the pier, dining & shopping, sightseeing etc.)

Hope springs eternal for me and though I did use other resources in checking out hotel venues I hoped that I could get opinions from fellow cruisers. I already made my reservation. Straitlover Posted December 4, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 4, 2017 I have not stayed yet, but I do have a reservation there for June 2018. I posted the same question about it earlier. I was told it is easy to walk to, like a 5-10 minute walk or so. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Canada+Pl,+Vancouver,+BC,+Canada/Auberge+Vancouver+Hotel,+West+Hastings+Street,+Vancouver,+BC,+Canada/@49.2873043,-123.1166455,18z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m13!4m12!1m5!1m1!1s0x548671831c0cf969:0xc5fbd49c04ee23c0!2m2!1d-123.1158121!2d49.2882266!1m5!1m1!1s0x5486718260164263:0xb38deae822701cd6!2m2!1d-123.1151329!2d49.2865472
Linda the Book Lover Posted December 4, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted December 4, 2017 I found info on the walk to the pier as well. Out the back door and a quick walk. I was hoping for impressions about the rooms from CC respondents. I just went ahead and booked.

I have been reviewing numerous hotels in Vancouver for almost 6 months and the only negative I have seen on the Auberge is their breakfast area is tiny and crowded. I agree with the breakfast area being the only negative. This is one of the reasons I just went ahead and booked.
