lahoban Posted December 14, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2005 Do you pay for them when you book them or do they go on your ship account? When I booked my Carnival excursion's I paid up front, just not sure how Princess does it. Thank's Oh, and does anyone know if the massage is worth the money, thanks. nlb1050 Posted December 14, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2005 They will bil them to your cruise account. Then if something happens and one gets canceled it is credited. Nancy
Katiekakes Posted December 14, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 14, 2005 It is my understanding that they are put on your shipboard account. It would have been nice to get them paid off before cruise. Any gifts you order a head of time will be put on any credit card and can be paid before hand.
Pam in CA Posted December 14, 2005 #4 Share Posted December 14, 2005 They are charged to your onboard account when you embark. You have until the morning of the day before your excursion to turn in the tickets and get a credit. This is a MUCH more civilized way of booking an excursion than having to pre-pay. The Shore Desk isn't as overwhelmed and is able to help you quickly and easily. I couldn't believe how mis-managed it was on RCI where if you had any excursion question, you had to wait in line for half an hour or more. Druke I Posted December 14, 2005 #5 Share Posted December 14, 2005 Yet again, I find myself in agreement with PaminMa. Princess' system much easier to cancel, rebook, etc. than some of the other cruise lines' systems, and no cash outlay until final clearance of folio at end of cruise. steve2001 Posted December 14, 2005 #7 Share Posted December 14, 2005 If you want to pre-pay your excursions, you can purchase on-board credits from Princess. We do this every year in the amount of our excursions + auto-tipping. The final bill doesnt hurt as much in the end
