Xcaret fron Cancun?

My daughter will be in Cancun while on the NCL Sea this summer and would like to go to Xcaret. How far is it from the tender dock in Cancun? And is there public transportation?

How old is your daughter. This is a place that you could spend the whole day. Tons to do worth the trip if you have the time. If you are going to do a dolphin swim book it ahead of time as they fill up fast. My son did it when he was around 13 and loved it. they also do a shorter one where you stand in the water on a platform and the dolphins swim around you and you can pet them I did this and it was cool. I don't know where the ship pier is but cabs are plentiful and we have never had any problem. Always ask the price before you get in the cab then that is the rate you pay. The hotels post rates so you know what to expect. I don't know if the ships do this. We also use the public buses which are fine as long as you are not in a rush.
