What airport should I arrive if leaving from Port Canaveral

Can anyone tell me which airport is the best/closest/cheapest if my cruise is leaving Port Canaveral?

The closest airport is Melbourne, but the cheapest is probably Orlando. Melbourne is about 30 minutes away and Orlando is 45 to 60 minutes away depending on the time of day and traffic. Melbourne is a much smaller airport so getting in and out will be much faster.

We flew into Orlando and it was about a 45-50 minute ride from the airport to the port.

Orlando, we used the cruise lines shuttle to Port Canaveral, nice and easy and cheap, they were supposed to bill our account but never did. Can't beat free.

orlando is the quickest drive best chance of getting cheaper flights.. hasslefree drive but.. if you are traveling with kids, or at peak times melbounre is well worth ther extra 25.00 or so dollars a ticket for no long secuity lines, nolong walks to terminal, no huge lines outside, parking etc..... Last time i flew orlando I swore i would never do it again if i could do melbourne only prob woith melbourne is that few airlines fly into it and almost all of the flights connect in atlanta (mostly because i think delta is the only one flying out of melbourne) Howver it does take a bit longer to get to teh melbourne airport becaause of traffic...
