Enavigo Posted December 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 12, 2017 On our Breakaway trip last fall we bought thermal spa passes for the first time, best money we spent. I particularly enjoyed the therapy pool as that helps with my bad back. We'll be headed to Bermuda next fall on the Escape and it will be our first time on an NCL ship other than the Breakaway. How does the Escape Spa compare to the Away-Class spas? Is it larger to accommodate more people? Is it about the same size? Any and all insights greatly appreciated! dawntrip Posted December 12, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 12, 2017 The spa on the Escape is even nicer! It is bigger, and the seating layout is better for enjoying the view at the front of the ship. The seating is a step up from the area where the therapy pools are, so fewer puddles. We also really liked the saunas with windows to the outside. SoCA6ft5 Posted December 12, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 12, 2017 Agree it's even nicer. Adds a snow room and a sanarium to the mix of thermal rooms and pools you enjoyed on the BA.
zqvol Posted December 12, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 12, 2017 If you like Breakaway then you will probably like any of them. IMO the spas on the "away" class ships are the worst of the fleet. The one on the Dawn is 10X better.
