Getting on the correct Jitney

Christmas Day we will be arriving in Nassau, and we have a day pass to Breezes. I want to make sure that we get the correct Jitney from the port to the resort. Any advice?

You will want the #10.

When you exit the port gates, walk one block up to Bay Street. Make a right. Walk about 3 short blocks passing the Straw Market on your right. George Street is across the street, just past the Market. Buses will be lined up. The jitneys' have the numbers on the front and side, just ask which is leaving next.

Trip is $1.25 pp. Most drivers will not give change. Pay as you leave the vehicle.

Thank you so much Scubagirrl! I stress over everything, and the way that you have it spelled out for me, I feel much more confident now!!

you will not have a problem. You can ask anyone along the way and they will be happy to point it out. Bahamians are very friendly and helpful.. Just ask.
