Free cruise certificates from the casino

Chips-

Like I said, we are new to all of this, but I seem to get offers in the mail and via email pretty constantly.  A lot of them are duplicate sailing offers, but some are new.  I think it is easy to get on the smaller, older ships.  The bigger ship offers (Harmony class) are sporadic.  For some reason my email was being tied to my wife's Royal account so I was getting her offers.  Once we updated the email for my account, the offers got better.😀  If you play quite a bit, you'll definitely get them.  Midway through our first cruise they put a sticker on my sea pass that said "Prime".  I don't think I noticed it for a day or two and no one said anything to me about it.  From what I learned that was a bump in their casino rankings.  I don't think my wife made prime, but she still got offers.

Do you get much choice on where you can use your voucher?    This was the problem with celebrity choice of 4 and 2 had already sailed.  I gamble a fair bit, which is all part of the holiday for me, so I think it will not too difficult to get to whatever level I need to get to (fingers crossed)

This is a Balcony one I got from a 3 day cruise in March. I just got a Junior Suite from my cruise in June and can't seem to find the certificate as I already booked one. But, you can get a great deal on a oasis/quantum ship and then pay to upgrade to a better room if you'd like. The certificates feel like a waste on 3-4 day cruises.

For good information on offers from Club Royal go to Cruise Conversations-Cruise Casinos-offers receive from Club Royal. Here is a link to the last page of the discussion.

I understand that the levels from the casino go on a fiscal year rather than a calendar year.  If I sailed in June and ended my cruise with 14,000 points where I got a voucher for $300 off a future cruise and I use it, and then go again in January and get another 13,000 points will the two cruise points be added together to get over the 25,000 points for a free inside cabin?

If so, will that cruise have to be taken before the end of March when a new calendar year starts?  If they are combined, would I be able to pay extra to upgrade to say a balcony cabin?

I haven't played enough to get a free cruise, but I have gotten money off for my last several cruises.  Thanks for your help.
