macgirl Posted December 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 16, 2005 Hi everyone, Well I'm glad I am good at rolling with the punches. I was planning to get married in Key West (not through Royal Romance, on the island) on Jan. 3, but I just found out that RCCL changed the itin and we are now going to Key West on Saturday, Jan. 7. No big deal, I have a wonderful wedding coordinator who is working to it all sorted out. There were only 4 of us, so it's cool. But, the Key West clerk's office will be closed on Saturday, so I guess I'll have to get the license in Ft. Lauderdale before we board the ship on Monday, Jan. 2. Does anyone know where the licensing office is in relation to the pier? I heard there is one pretty close by. Please let me know if you have that info, or know where I can find it. THANKS! There is no waiting period for Florida nonresidents. - Once the license is issued, it is valid for 60 days - No medical examinations or blood tests are required - Identification: ** Both parties must have valid photo identification (driver’s license, passport) (SS card in Ft L) - If either party has previously been married, please bring a copy of the divorce decree at the time of application if divorce is within the last six months. ashley&tony Posted December 16, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 16, 2005 You can find a lot of information on the clerk of courts website. The one for Broward County is browardclerk.org. Hope that helps.
