Best snorkeling from beach in Cozumel??

No sandy beach will offer great snorkeling - there's no rocks/reefs for the little fish to thrive in, and the waves/sand cloud the water. :(

Good snorkeling from the shore (you enter the water via steps) is available at the Money Bar. About an $11 cab ride from the piers, no admission fee, lockers and good facilities, rental gear & guides if you need them, and good food, drinks and service. Check out the trip advisor reviews.

Chankanaab Park had very good snorkeling right off shore. There are steps from down into the water. There is an admission fee that will give you access to other amenities. Snorkeling here was much better than at Paradise Beach and comparable to Money Bar and others. It's a Mexican National Park and all the facilities are clean and well-maintained.
