age/height restriction for slides at Amer Cove

Is there an age or height restriction for using the water slides? I have read that the zip line is eight, does anyone know have closely they check the age? We will have a 7 1/2 year old that is adventurous, and if we rent a pool size cabana the zip line is at no charge.
