Day pass - Jewel Runaway Beach Resort - Jamaica

Hi!

 

Anyone tried a day pass at the Jewel Runaway Beach Resort? We're a family of 4 (two adults, two kids 14 & 11) looking at this option for our Falmouth excursion during our cruise on the Norwegian Escape between March 3 - 11.

 

How was your experience (resort experience (food and activities), return time to cruise port, etc.)?

We have stayed at this resort before and loved it. This was in 2014 right before they opened the water park. We will be booking this as our excursion for an April cruise. We will be booking through resortforaday rather than through the cruise line. Quite a bit cheaper.

I’ve read 40 mins which kinda sux but you could count on at least 20 mins for anything. So for us worth the drive

We have done this twice and loved it both times! You can rent a cabana by the pool/waterslide area for $25.00.

We are also going here in March. We have been to Sunscape splash last year and LOVED it. We are hoping Jewel is just As good

How do you secure the cabana if booking thru cruiseline excursion? We definitely want the cabana as we have a traveler who needs to avoid the sun.

We just came back last week and we booked the cabana right at the resort. I’m not sure if you can prebook. But out of the maybe 10-15 gazebos they had we were the only guests with one

 

Also the cost was $50 but still worth it.
