Has anyone rented a scooter on the Reflection?

We will be on the Reflection for the Feb. 18 cruise in Room #1514. Does anyone know if a scooter will fit into the doorway as it isn't a handicapped room. Also considering renting a bedside commode. Thanks!

Depends on the model of scooter, and whether you need a bariatric one. the bed is next to the balcony, so you would be able to park it by the couch. But you would not be able to get it past the foot of the bed to the balcony. EM

I realize that but can get to the balcony ok by holding onto the bed, wall, etc. Would there be room in front of the couch for a lift chair?

I would recommend you call one of the rental companies and ask them. You may also want to contact special needs at Celebrity. I’ve had good luck with the rental companies. For example I was considering a Holland America cruise. When I called to ask about a lift chair, they said Holland doesn’t allow the lift chairs in the rooms. They consider it a safety issue. I confirmed with HAL and had to cancel that cruise. So I never cruise on Holland America.
