Carnival Dream Coffee shop plus smoking areas

Hi we sail on the Dream in February and I have looked at the deck plans but can't find where the "specialty" coffee shop is.

Also, I know where the smoking areas are but for those of you who do smoke, which ones have chairs etc. if any?

Thanks in advance.

Coffee bar is on deck 5 (Plaza Café). I believe one of the smoking sections is on deck 5.

That is correct. It's very close to the coffee shop. I forget which side ( I think port) but there are doors out to the Lanai deck on either side of Plaza Café and one side is a smoking area. There is also smoking in the casino (also on deck 5 not far from the coffee shop) and by the pool on one side only but I can't remember if it's on 10 at pool level or (I think) up on 11.

I will be traveling on the Dream in August and I was wondering about the smoking area with the nice comfy couches myself. Where they located on Deck 11?

I was on the Magic (Dream class) and there was a very comfortable smoking area on deck 5, port, just aft of mid-ship. They had comfy chairs, tables, etc. The only downside was that it was open to the elements, so if it was raining it was unusable.

The best couch area on Dream used to be on deck 11 starboard just aft of the pool area overlook, but on Magic the seating on deck 5 port was almost as comfy as deck 11. As someone else said the deck 5 smoking area may no longer be covered if Dream is now like Magic....they don't allow smoking anymore in the covered lanai area, it's further aft. There are several umbrellas but on 1 or 2 days of our cruise it was too windy for the umbrellas, they had to close them. But it was fine for DH, one day deck 5 would be ok or very nice and other days it was deck 11. But comfy cushioned seating (and umbrellas) in both areas. As I said this was Magic but Dream may be the same now.

Oh and on Magic deck 11 by the pool also has cushioned seating in starboard smoking area and all the way around. Just fwiw, can't say for certain that it's all the same on Dream.
