Walk off luggage on Seaside?

Hi - we have an early flight after our Seaside cruise and was wondering can we walk off with our luggage?

We just walked off our luggage on 1/13/2018. They ask you to be on deck 6 by 6:30. We got there about 6:15, stood in line about 30 minutes before we were cleared to leave and were off the ship and through customs by 7:15 and at the FLL airport by 8am using Uber.

Of course you can, we are usually in the street by 7am.

We did the same thing as KC Michael on the same cruise. I was skeptical because we arrived to the disembarkation deck (cannot remember which one) at 6:25 and the line was already long. However, once they opened things up the line really moved quickly.

 

One thing to note. As you are nearing the escalators down to customs a long line formed for the elevator. Just go to the right of that line and you will avoid a good chunk of folks waiting.

 

Also, Miami had signs for Global Entry but I did not see any kiosks and didn't need to ask because the line was moving so quickly. We were outside right at 7:00.
