Social with Officers for those sailing in a Suite

My wife and I will be sailing in an Owners Suite on the Dawn for our 20th anniversary. I was wondering from someone who has recently sailed in a suite on the Dawn, when is the meet and greet/social/drinks party with the officers for those sailing in a suite typically held? I have heard it is the first sea day (day after embarkation). That day also happens to be our anniversary and I wanted to schedule a romantic dinner on that evening but did not want to miss the social with the officers. Obviously the dinner will overrule the social but was hoping I could either schedule the dinner around the social or hoped it was perhaps a different day. Thanks for any insight.

You are correct; the suite social with the captain is held in the evening of the first sea day.

Any idea the approximate time? May just schedule our anniversary dinner before or after if reasonable.

I just got off the Dawn on Wednesday and was in an Owner's Suite. Our first day after embarkation was a port day. Our cruise was not normal though. We had 6 straight port days then 3 sea days. Our social was held from 6:30 to 7:30 on Day 2 (the day after embarkation).

Contact the pre-cruise suite concierge, they might have specific times. Or the ship directly.
