perditax Posted January 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2018 1) Haven't been on NCL since last June. What have been the major changes in the last six months? Policy changes, upcharges, internet, food quality? I'll be on Escape, possibly. (Side note: I tried RCL for the first time last fall. Holy cow, it is NOT for me.) 2) Has anyone ever "walked" a courtesy hold forward a few days before real booking? I expected to book a cruise today that's already after PIF, but my boss unexpectedly wants to chat before approving the time off (this is new). I'm basically just trying to hold onto a room for two days till I can clear it on Monday, nothing major.
SouthLyonCruiser Posted January 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2018 If you used a travel agent have him or her call; they usually have more pull with the cruise lines. If you booked through NCL it may be a little tougher as they tend to tow the company line; "that's our policy and I can't make an exception".
