bunzini Posted February 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2018 We will be on the Royal in March. Was wondering if it is possible to take my 85 yr. old mom to Nelson's Dockyard. First, is there an easy way to get there? Is it fairly flat, not a lot of steps or uneven surfaces? Are there benches to sit? She is able to walk, slowly and carefully and I think she would enjoy the atmosphere and a little shopping. All the shore excursions seem to take you to several places and I thought we could sort of be on our own schedule if we went on our own. Any thoughts? spidybabe Posted February 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2018 Try Bonita tours. They are wonderful to work with, and will provide any info needed about the tours, and will adapt as needed. We had somebody with a walker on our tour without problems. Tell them Tina recommended them.
