Brakaway - Aft Haven Suite - Deck 14 - Noise from Deck 15 Buffet above ?

Hi -

Looking forward to our first experience in a Haven Suite - TA has booked us on the Breakaway - Cabin 14872 -

 

One deck above the Garden Café - I think they booked us in this one, because the configuration includes the bedroom window overlooking the balcony (as opposed to on some of the other decks the window that overlooks the balcony is in the bathroom)

 

Does anyone have experience staying in an Aft Suite on Deck 14 of the Breakaway ?

 

Do you hear noise from scrapping chairs, etc. from Deck 15

 

Should we ask our TA to change us to another deck ?

I would try to change it. First, yes, I think there is a noise factor. But second, the deck 14 balconies are much smaller that those that are lower. The largest are on deck 9. The difference is amazing. Largest to smallest on breakaway is 9, 12, 11, 10, 14, 13.

Hi, I just sailed the BA and was in 14874, so I have a good sense of this :) There is not a ton of noise from the buffet, in my opinion, but there is a lot of noise from Spice H20 on party nights - and those parties go until midnight or so (even later depending on which night). That could definitely be a bother.

We have stayed in deck 9 and 12 H6 cabins on Breakaway, there was definitely a difference in the amount of noise from spice h20, with the deck 9 cabin being significantly quieter. In the deck 12 cabin we had to keep the balcony door locked and closed at night to avoid noise in the cabin.

Enjoy, these are our favourite cabins in the fleet!
