We are sailing on carnival magic next Friday and we have an interior stateroom.Booked by my mother in law thru a travel agent.Everything is paid for already but it would be nice to get a balcony room.I called carnival they said there still are balcony state rooms available but I need to call my travel agent....Has anyone ever upgraded the day of sailing? Also what do you guys think the up charge would be for three if us?

On Saturday's Carnival Glory cruise, I was offered an up sell from inside to balcony for $372 total for 2 people. Not that it would have to be the same. But that might help you figure out the size of the ballpark. I did not take the offer, instead choosing an up sell to a front-facing scenic ocean view (extra large window) for $200.
