Water Island...on your own??

About to head to St Thomas for the 3rd time and just realized that WI is a 4th VI.

 

Not alot of info out there...went to ***** and is just enough to make me curious. It's between WI and St John(again)

 

Has anyone done it on there own? Any suggestion of things to do? Anyone been to Honeymoon Beach?

 

I've seen the bike trip, but didn't know if anyone has done it on their own

Hello BTfan,

 

Water Island is easy to do on your own. There isn't a whole lot to do there; you can hike around the island, stop into Pirates Ridge for lunch and spend some time on the beach at Honeymoon. Or you can do the bike tour and then lunch and beach time. If you visit Water Island with St. John in mind you will be disappointed. Can't really compare them because of their size difference, development (or lack of) etc.

Sounds like a good excursion for a half day beach trip. We'll spend the other half in town

 

We don't do much on the beach..just lay out and enjoy the scenery. May bring some snorkel gear if we feel crazy
