kerrykobik Posted March 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2018 We are arriving in early April this year. Does anyone have any reccomendations on what to do there? We do not like any of the Royal Carribean shore excursions/tours offered.. We prefer to find something different ,other than " just a tour".. Wether it be a cooking class, or wine tasting, or neat shopping, market,a show/theatre, or quaint town or awesome restaurant , club, pub? Anything exciting or different and worth while, any must see/must do places ?, as we've never been there before. and transportation to get around there ? Appreciate Any /All reccomendations. Thank You so much !
kate52 Posted March 4, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2018 Well firstly, you need to post this question in the Spain forum, not France! Palma has a quaint old town around the back of the cathedral, full of little specialist independent shops, horse and carriage rides etc. But the best thing to do in Majorca is the train to Soller. Leaves from Palma, about an hour through lovely scenery to Soller. You can either stay in the very attractive town or get the tram down to the little port. There is a bus back or you can return on the train. We got a taxi from the port entrance to the station, and back again, but it is walkable straight along the seafront
Rare marazul Posted March 4, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 4, 2018 You need to get a guide book and get an idea of where you are going. Also, Palma is in Spain so you should post on that board
