Ft. Lauderdale Hotels

Hello all! It was recommended that I visit this thread for more information.

 

Does anyone have a hotel they recommend in Fort Lauderdale to stay in the night before our cruise in April that provides shuttles from the airport to the hotel and the hotel to the port?

After some more reading, I am finding out that the hotel shuttles are not always that great.

 

Does anyone know a hotel that is a little further from the main strip that might have less busy shuttles?

 

Also, we could take a cab instead. In that case, we would be looking for a nice hotel room for two ($150 or under) that is a short cab-ride away. Any recommendations?
