elaine5 Posted March 8, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2018 How comfortable are the Regal/Royal Deluxe Balcony cabins' loveseats that fold our into a single bed? Like old fashioned fold outs? or more like the newer trifold European sofabeds (such as in many Marriotts, Disney, etc. resorts)?

eyoreblu Posted March 9, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 9, 2018 I slept on one last year on the Regal in a mini-suite. It was a pop up bed/mattress, not a fold out and it was just fine. I had started on the twin bed but my cabin mate's first cruise freaked her out so we switched and I slept on the sofabed the whole cruise. I would sleep on it again! elaine5 Posted March 9, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted March 9, 2018 I think the Dx is a different type that folds out.
firecrewcapt Posted March 9, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 9, 2018 Our daughter slept on one for a week and was very comfortable, no complaints or bars in your back, and is turned down/opened up every night by our steward.
baronessk Posted March 9, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 9, 2018 I've slept on one on every Royal/Regal cruise I've been on and I love them. Just like a twin bed and you can pull the curtain across and have your own little ocean view studio, complete with refrigerator!
