Arzeena Posted March 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2018 We were in San Juan earlier this month and went for dinner and Flamenco show at Triana on Calle Recentio Sur. Enjoyed it a lot! Within walking distance from the port. Good food and excellent entertainment. Guitar by Juan Carlos. There were two dancers who were excellent! Reservations were not needed, unless you are a big group. You only pay for the food you order. Show started at 7.30 pm and we were done at 9 pm. Well before all aboard time at 10.30 pm. Very easy and safe walk back to the ship.

We asked at Barrachina about their Flameco show and were told the man who played guitar left town when Maria arrived and he has never returned. I wish we had known about Triana. So many restaurants that we had enjoyed on previous trips were closed. Some had for sale signs posted. We don't know if they closed after Maria or were hit by the recession in San Juan. We sure do miss the Parrot Club.
