Rare HeinBloed Posted March 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2018 The actual blog from NORWEGIAN SPIRIT but also one translation in English of a 2014 cruise on NORWEGIAN JADE out of Venice, Italy for Roundtrip in the Adriatic Sea is now available. The new blog on NORWEGIAN SPIRIT is ready. At first the part A of the Pre-Cruise. It starts in Andalusia, Spain on KONINGSDAM 2016 in Huelva, Spain and in Málaga, Spain Volume 2. Then we could only get a "taste" of Sevilla, Spain and Córdoba, Spain and now we wanted more. Our campbase: three friends from Goslar, Germany who lived meanwhile in Almodóvar de Río: Magdalena, Pepe and Miguel. Welcome to Andalusia. Welcome to the pre-cruise of NORWEGIAN SPIRIT - perfect if you embark in Málaga instead of Barcelona, Spain. http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2018/02/tagday-0a-vor-derbefore-norwegian.html KONINGSDAM 2016 took us most of the time into the Córdoba Cathedral, Spain. Part B of the pre-cruise continues in Córdoba: very easy to reach from Málaga, Spain. Now we headed to the fortress Alcázar with a beautiful garden and into the flower lane which we missed then. Finally we made it to the castle of Almodóvar de Río. http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2018/02/tagday-0b-vor-derbefore-norwegian.html KONINGDAM 2016 was by-passing the Cathedral and fortress Alcázar in Seville, Spain. Now went into and up. Part C of the pre-cruise continued in Seville: very easy to reach from Huelva, Spain or Cadiz, Spain. Also the Placa de Espana: beautiful. There is so much to discover in Andalusia. http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2018/02/tagday-0c-vor-derbefore-norwegian.html Three voyages took us to Málaga, Spain: MSC FANTASIA 2009, NORWEGIAN SPIRIT 2013 and KONINGSDAM 2016. Und this time we stayed in town and here part D of the pre-cruise starts. Wonderful location: AC Hotel Málaga Palacio. View to the port and direct to the Cathedral. Day and Night. The visit of the Cathedral and a common picture with Pablo Picasso is a must. In the evening with dinner we came very close with Jesus and Maria. One more time sleeping: NORWEGIAN SPIRIT is on the way to Málaga. http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2018/02/tagday-0d-vor-derbefore-norwegian.html Day 1 of the blog in Málaga, Spain: Finally MY NORWEGIAN SPIRIT! Finally home! I do not need a cart-race to be happy: just a beautiful ship and a great crew - In this case actually the vaction with friends and family continues: Guest Service Manager Yuviel (better know as Bon) Vilaruz was expecting us for embarkation. On board we met old friends like Joyce Yutadco, Zdravko Kojakovic and our personal garantor for full satisfaction since our very first voyage with NCL on NORWEGIAN PEARL 2007: Furtoso Gonsalves. In the evening we made new friends in Le Bistro: Joanne Javier. A visit was only possible because our friends are walking an extra mile for us. http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2018/02/tagday-1-auf-deron-norwegian-spirit-in.html

Rare HeinBloed Posted March 18, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted March 18, 2018 Day 2 of the blog in Alicante, Spain - a new port for me - and anyhow the very first time here: Again good friends were close by whom we were happy to meet: Angela and Thomas from Goslar, Germany We went again to a Segway Tour trough Alicante: Nicolas of Segwayalicante gave Sigi personal lessons and after few minutes she had fun too with this tour. A short Meet & Greet with Wendy and Craig from cruisecritic.com. I could not join the meeting at the day at sea before. And due to cruisecritic.com we also made personal acquaintance with Joan whom we spent a very nice evening in La Trotteria. We had fond memories with Hotel Director Armando of NORWEGIAN SPIRIT 2013 - then we were here with our parents - he liked it and did everything that our parents all still speak high of this voyage. The very last sailing of NORWEGIAN DREAM 2009 - and our Concierge was Karin Gödecke. Nice to meet her here again. Rodel Solis we know from NORWEGIAN JADE 2017 - then part of the dreamteam in the Cagney's. It was never possible to go on a NCL ship without meeting any friends who made sure that we felt like home. We also made new friends onboard like: I Nyoman Sukrawan, Anoop Souriammakkal, Rowena Maranan, Linlin Hao, Sundy Roncejero, Jiffer Esma and the entire team of La Tratteria. And the next was the end again. http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2018/02/tagday-2-auf-deron-norwegian-spirit-in.html Day 3 of the blog in Barcelona - Figueres, Spain - Frankfurt, Germany and Day 4 in Bensheim, Germany: Barcelona always means meeting with our favorite taxi driver Eva and VIKING STAR, AIDAprima and MY MSC MERAVIGLIA. Onboard I was happy to meat an oridnary seaman who did not just give me a shower but to interrupt his job and find a new safe place: Joy Briones. In Raffles Court Rome Soliva made sure that I could get a portion of Congee before the section was open officially so I could warm up. One more time breakfast with Cagney's on NORWEGIAN SPRIIT with many memories of great people with NCL. Here it was time to say good-bye to Ildiko Vida who escorted us the last time for a meal to our table. We went to Figueres for Dali. We became older and forget more and more and so we forgot our bags in the trunk of our taxi. A hunt for José Maria began. It ended up well. Less good: Valet parking which ended up with the ADAC autobilist club on a public parking without fence, without gards and accessible to everyone because the valet service forgot to turn off the indoor light and so the battery ran empty. Thanks to Mr Altschuck from ADAC. Before we took back Sigi to Franfurt Airport we used the chance to meet fellow-cruisers for the next year: Rossita and Ekkehard. Few nice days came to the end. The next blog: comes from QUEEN VICTORIA. The next blog with NCL: again from NORWEGIAN JADE. http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2018/02/tagedays-3-4-auf-deron-norwegian-spirit.html
Rare HeinBloed Posted March 18, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted March 18, 2018 Jumping back to 2014. My German speaking friends know already the blog. I promised one day I should have the time to translate few more blogs. By and by I will do it: I promise. So back to fall 2014: NORWEGIAN JADE 2014 2 Adriatic Sea from Venice. The blog starts pre-cruise in Innsbruck, Austria with Swarovski's Crystal World and later with a nice fellow-cruisers: Karin from Austria. It continues at Lake Garda and later in Verona, where Cristina took us around in the city center. My personal highlight: "Letters to Julia"... at the House of Juliet... to see the letters from all lovers from the world and the balcony of course. http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/09/tagday-01-vor-derbefore-norwegian-jade.html http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/09/tagday-021-vor-derbefore-norwegian-jade.html http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/09/tagday-022-vor-derbefore-norwegian-jade.html So you are kindly invited to follow us to Austria and Italy. After Verona, Italy we headed to Padova, Italy and later to Venice, Italy in fall 2014. As said: sorry for being late with my translation. Staying in one of the best places for Shipspotters Hotel Hilton Venice Molino Stucky. Enjoying a wonderful service in the Executive Lounge and a wonderful room for shipspotter. Thanks to Iliana!!! Had the best view but only one ship which arrived that day: but at least my favorite NCL-ship: NORWEGIAN SPIRIT. Later meeting our friends for a evening walking tour in Venice: Frances, Eddie, Ingrid, Angela and Thomas. Luigina was a true insider as she lived in the laguna city and so knew corners where we did not meet any other guests. http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/09/tagday-031-vor-derbefore-norwegian-jade.html http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/09/tagday-032-vor-derbefore-norwegian-jade.html http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/09/tagday-033-vor-derbefore-norwegian-jade.html I am back in few days with my blog when we starts on NORWEGIAN JADE. I am not so sorry because of beeing three years late with the translation. It helps me again to be back with all our friends back in Venice on NORWEGIAN JADE. Day 1 of the blog starts in four chapters: http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/09/tagday-11-auf-deron-norwegian-jade-in.html http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/09/tagday-12-auf-deron-norwegian-jade-in.html http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/09/tagday-13-auf-deron-norwegian-jade-in.html http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/09/tagday-14-auf-deron-norwegian-jade-in.html It was an up seeing how NORWEGIAN JADE arrived in Venice, Italy. It was an down when we experience the check-in desaster at the terminal. It was an up to meet in the first minutes many friends like Lloyd, Budiyanto with their cordial welcome. It was an down when we found out the story of VIP Package Plus and we were about to leave the ship before set sail. It was an up to meet so many other old friends like here on the collage: Aydin, Mahmut, Valeria, Manalyn and King Kamehameha certainly. I sincere apology that none of the other old friends are here on this collage: Lloyd, Budiyanto, Orlando, Deepak, Jurjet, Andreea and Daniel but making 4 x 4 pictures on the same size made all pictures appearing to small. Sorry. But your pictures are all in the blog. I also sincere apology with new friends: Nilda dela Cruz and Christina Tolentino - I am trying to find them on Facebook but their names are so popular: no chance - so if anyone knew them please send a friendship suggestion. It was great to be back home from home. And I am sure that Ingrid, Angela, Thomas, Frances and Eddie had their fun too on this ship. The next day of the blog comes from Dubrovnik, Croatia. As said before: the German speaking friends knew the blog for three years. My English speaking friends all deserve the world to know how wonderful they are. So still time to share those great memories with the world. After Venice, Italy we are now heading to Dubrovnik, Croatia on Day 2 of my blog of NORWEGIAN JADE 2014 2. As said before: only the English translation is added to ease my friends to understand my blog. The day in two chapters: http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/09/tagday-21-auf-deron-norwegian-jade-in.html http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/09/tagday-22-auf-deron-norwegian-jade-in.html Meeting our cabin steward Tito Lausa: Mr. Invisible. A wonderful sunrise! The best of the day. One of the heroes: David Smith Austin - Congee freshly made just for me. Thanks to Olivia Sturm for organising the cruisecritic.com-Meet & Greet. Getting off for Shipspotting and a short tour to Cavtak to have a Rasnicij. Back on board: enjoying a sushi-dinner with Mahmut Atar, Angelo dela Cruz and Rex Alfonso. It was great to meet old friends like Aydin Sönmecozak and Orlando O'Neill Manuel incl. his new assistant Iryna Lutsenko. For me terrible... to see the last pictures before my surgery... cannot believe to see the pictures three years ago and today. The next day will be day at sea. Will revert. Finally a day at sea: Day 3 of the blog of NORWEGIAN JADE 2014 2 is translated. I love relaxing days at sea. Also our friends Frances, Eddie, Ingrid, Angela and Thomas had a great time on board. http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/09/seetagday-at-sea-3-auf-deron-norwegian.html Enjoying the services of our old and new crew-friends Bruno, Jean-Michel, Pedro, Muthu, Valeria, Seepa and Captain Mikael. Looking forward for next place Piraeus, Greece.
Rare HeinBloed Posted March 18, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted March 18, 2018 Day 4 of the blog of NORWEGIAN JADE 2014 2 is translated and took us to Piraues, Greece. http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/09/tagday-4-auf-deron-norwegian-jade-in.html Seeing our taxi driver friends Johanna and Nico. Johanna took our German-speaking friends to the highlights of Athens. As she was raised up in Germany and spoke fluently German it was a perfect arrangement. Nico went with us and our English-speaking friends to Cape Sounion. Also a wonderful place to be and to see. Greek food was certainly a must. I was gambling and placed Bruno on the gambling table... Now I have them double: our Concierge Bruno Dentone delivered a great performance with us. It was only difficult if someone called Bruno and both turnaround. Time to say good-bye... someone would leave the ship for love... but it was not of me: Seepa together with Peter whom we knew from NORWEGIAN JADE 2014 1 - our personal ginger-mint-lemon-tea-brew-master-chef. Day 5 of the blog of NORWEGIAN JADE 2014 2 is translated and took us to Kusadai, Turkey Since we experienced so much in two chapters. http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/10/tagday-51-auf-deron-norwegian-jade-in.html http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/10/tagday-52-auf-deron-norwegian-jade-in.html My two favorite ships were together: NORWEGIAN SPIRIT and NORWEGIAN JADE. Many crew members from the other ship we knew: like Furtosa, Deepak, Margaryta or Ryan and many more. Olivia and Irma were taking care of our friends Ingrid, Angela and Thomas. We booked with Ephesus Deluxe Tours two wonderful tour guides Serhat and Ufuk. Ufuk took the German group to Ephesus and our group went with Serhat just around incl. a Gözleme Place. While other get a free cruise when they are Latitudes Ambassador we got lunch with the family of Mahmut - this was one of the best experiences ever. Karin Tito and Jose Jurado of the actual cruise made all may days special by the way they treated me. Later we had the Latitudes party with Captain Mikael Hilden and Hotel Director Jean Michel Dhelin and his great team. Here we met David Butler again whom we knew from a previous cruise too. After so many cobblestones happy to have a day at sea which was already Day 6 on our voyage on NORWEGIAN JADE 2014 2: http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/10/seetagday-at-sea-6-auf-deron-norwegian.html It was very relaxing and the highlight was later the dinner when Mahmut and Norhaya were taking care of us. Ingrid, Angela and Thomas meanwhile enjoyed so far Moderno. Day 7 of the blog on NORWEGIAN JADE 2014 2 took us to Split, Croatia: http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/10/tagday-7-auf-deron-norwegian-jade-in.html We went again to the Krka National Park with the waterfalls. Beautiful. Coming back to the ship a team around Thomas Budiyanto Supranto welcomed us with their dance and together with Cruise Director Pedro Serra and Hotel Director Jean-Michel Dhelin they made us sad with their happiness since it was our last night onboard. So many friendly faces and no more from the next day? The night we had a chance to see Daniel Mulia again who was working close by. Our last dinner service we got from Salomeo Pinar, Alan Cortez and Prince Arganosa. A great cruise came to the end and many of us have some more new friends. Day 8 of the blog took us back to our embarkation port Venice, Italy. NORWEGIAN JADE 2014 2 was now history: http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/10/tagday-8-auf-deron-norwegian-jade-in.html Time to say good-bye from our fellow-cruisers, from nice crew-members or just now from our friends - ashore and onboard. We were heading to Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy and St. Wolfgang, Austria - beautiful places everybody knew from movies. Staying overnight in the famous White Horse Inn. Rare HeinBloed Posted March 18, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted March 18, 2018 On Day 9 we had short break with former Imperial Patisserie in Bad Ischl on the roots of Romy Schneider as Empress Elizabeth. http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/11/tagday-9-nach-derafter-norwegian-jade.html We rejoined Frances and Eddie in Ceske Krumlov, Czech Republic - UNESCO World Heritage. Day 10 after NORWEGIAN JADE 2014 2 took us to the beautiful Lake Königssee in Bavaria, Germany. http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/10/tagday-10-nach-derafter-norwegian-jade.html Just gorgeous. Our last Day 11 of our voyage after NORWEGIAN JADE 2014 2 took us to Innsbruck, Austria, to the summit of Mount Zugspitze and Disneyland. Or better the castle which was used to be the logo of Disney: Neuschwanstein in Füssen, Germany http://heinbloed-ncl.blogspot.com/2014/10/tagday-11-nach-derafter-norwegian-jade.html A beautiful voyage came to the end. Sorry again that the English translation took so long and thanks for your understanding and patience. The next translations are reserved for OCEAN PRINCESS and DIAMOND PRINCESS when I am back from QUEEN VICTORIA. Next NCL-Blog starts in July on NORWEGIAN JADE again.
