They are your go to person for any need you have. We Just got off Seaside Yacht Club 2 weeks ago and our Butler was wonderful. We are not needy people so we didn't go on the ship with any expectations. He was everywhere whether it be by our cabin, in the pool/bar/grill area or in concierge area. He assisted by the pool Grill ensuring all guests were served promptly. Assisted in making and getting drinks or food. Took care of any special requests. Personally escorted you down to gangway to exit ship on port days, etc. Several times he politely reminded us its his job to do certain things we said we were going to do!! He is on call for you and in the event he has an off period when you have a need....either another Butler will assist or you can just leave a message for him. He is also a Butler for other cabins so he isn't exclusively just for you...but to be honest...it felt like he was our personal Butler because he seemed to be everywhere we were. LOL

The butler also takes care of your laundry if you have a laundry package. I had a half of glass of Titos vodka in my refrigerator everyday that the butler got from the bar. The butler also will escort you anywhere on the ship you want to go, wife likes to do various crafts and had no idea where to go so we had the butler escort her. The butler and room steward will bring your meals that you wish to have in the room. Most of the suites are too small to have meals in the room and the balcony was tooooooo windy so we only had breakfast in the room once. The butler is the best deal in cruising.:)
